Our travels in the Summer of 2021 took us to Music Villa in Bozeman, Montana, to meet the owner Paul and his crew. We ordered a couple of acoustic guitars:
- We purchased one of these wonderful Yamaha FS800T Mahagony guitars with a tinted top to use as an auction donation for an organization Rex has been affiliated with for many years. We put together a package featuring the new album.
2. Rex also ordered a Martin CEO7, after playing one of these many years ago in Nazereth, Penn and a few times around the country. It's a Mahogony body, deep V neck, with a Adirondack top. The guys at Music Villa added a LR Baggs Anthem pickup system for live gigs. This is Rex's first Martin.
It's been a rough couple of years not being able to hang out with our band mates and music friends.
We celebrated the end of the year inspired by the Ukulele playing of Jake Shimabukura and the influence of George Harrison through his son Dhani by putting his signature Ukuleles in the hands of some of our band mates and music friends around the country. We look forward to playing with everyone down the road.
